Thanks to the "Digital Documents" service in the eGov mobile application, customers of telecom operators have the right not to present the original identity documents to receive services in service centers. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
The press service noted that today the service for those who are unable to provide the original document is available in the service centers of the mobile operator Beeline. Now the client only needs to have an e-government application in his smartphone - eGov mobile.
In order to use a digital document, you need to download and open the eGov mobile application. Then, in the services tab, select the "Digital Documents" section and go through authorization. You can log in to the application using an EDS or a one-time SMS password. After authorization, in the window that opens, you must select an identity card and click the button - open access. To carry out the procedure, the manager of the mobile operator Beeline will scan the QR code and confirm the identity of the client through biometric data.
Currently, 18 documents are available in the digital document service, the most popular of which are: identity card, driver's license, vaccination passport, PCR test and birth certificate.
Earlier, Kazakhstanis had the opportunity to use digital documents at airports, when boarding a train at a railway station, as well as when receiving services from banks and notaries.
