In Kazakhstan, work of archives will be automated, Kazpravda.kz reports, referring to the chairman of the Communication and Information Agency.
“PSCs were automated in 2010, and from now on, work will be likewise accomplished on the archives in three years. The outcome will be a significant reduction in services time and their improved quality. For example, to get an archival certificate on employment record now takes 1 to 6 months, but after the optimization and automation, the time for obtaining it will be much shorter. Researchers working with archival records will also feel the change. They will be granted a remote access to a single database of archival documents of the republic, "- Zhumagaliyev shared.
