Darkhan Kaletayev dismissed from the post of Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Moldova

Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev dismissed Darkhan Kaletayev from the post of Kazakhstan's ambassador to Moldova, Kazpravda.kz reports.

"By the Decree of the Head of State, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine Kaletayev Darkhan Amanovich was relieved of the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Moldova concurrently," the press service of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan said in a statement.

Darkhan Kaletayev was born in 1972 in the East Kazakhstan region, graduated from East Kazakhstan State University, National Higher School of Public Administration.

He began his career in 1995.

He worked in the structure of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the ministries of education and culture, information and public consent.

In 2007-2008, he served as Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, in 2008-2009 - First Deputy Chairman of the NDP "Nur Otan", in 2009-2016 - Managing Director of the NWF "Samruk-Kazyna".

In October 2016, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, he was appointed a deputy of the Senate of the Parliament.

Since September 2017 - member of the Committee on Foreign Relations, Defense and Security of the Senate of the Parliament.

Since April 2018, he has served as the Minister of Public Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Then he worked as the head of the office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the first deputy head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In February 2020, he was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Ukraine.
