The Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the plenary session appointed ex-majilisman Mukhtar Yerman to the position of a member of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
As Majilis deputy Arman Kozhakhmetov noted, the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in accordance with the Constitution, made a recommendation to appoint Mukhtar Yerman a member of the CEC of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
"In accordance with the Constitution, a recommendation was submitted by the Chairman of the Majilis to appoint Mukhtar Yerman to the position of a member of the CEC. In accordance with the law "On the Parliament and the status of its deputies," Mukhtar Yerman's candidacy for the position of a member of the CEC was considered. We ask you to support it," said Arman Kozhakhmetov.
