Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi spoke on the sidelines of the government about the possibility of circumventing anti-Russian sanctions imposed by the US and the EU against the Russian Federation through Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
“We do not join these sanctions, but two points are very important for us. Firstly, so that there is no negative impact of these sanctions on the development of the economy of Kazakhstan, and secondly, so that our territory is not used to circumvent these sanctions,” the minister concluded.
The Minister also noted that at the moment Kazakhstan does not recognize both the Luhansk People's Republic and the Donetsk People's Republic.
