By the decision of the Board of Samruk-Kazyna JSC, in agreement with the Administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Magzum Mirzagaliev was appointed Chairman of the Board of JSC NC KazMunayGas, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the national company.
Mirzagaliev Magzum Maratovich was born on November 7, 1978. In 1999 he graduated from Turan University, an international economist. In 2003 - Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, international economist. He also studied at the Caspian State University of Technology and Engineering named after Sh. Yessenov, and had an internship in the USA and Malaysia.
From 2001 to 2004, he was a drilling fluids engineer at MIDrillingFluidsInternational (Schlumberger) for the Tengiz and Western Siberia fields.
From 2004 to 2007 - business development manager, production manager - head of the Aktau branch of MIDrillingFluidsInternational.
From 2007 to 2010 - General Director of TenizService LLP of the Joint Stock Company National Company KazMunayGas.
From 2010 to 2012 – Managing Director of NC KazMunayGas JSC.
From 2012 to 2013 - Deputy Chairman of the Board for Innovative Development and Service Projects of JSC NC KazMunayGas.
From 2013 to 2014 - Vice Minister of Oil and Gas of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2014 to 2019 - Vice Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From 2019 to 2021 - Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From September 2021 to 2022 - Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Since January 2022, he has served as Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Earlier it was reported that Mirzagaliyev Magzum Maratovich was dismissed from the post of Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan by the Decree of the Head of State.
