New director of El Arna TV channel appointed

Almanov Nurbol Meirkhanuly has been appointed director of the EL ARNA TV channel. This was reported by the press service of Khabar Agency JSC, Kazpravda.kz reports.

Previously, he served as the head of the public relations department and the press service of the republican state institution "National Center for the Quality of Road Assets" of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 1997 he graduated from the Kazakh Academy of Arts named after T.K. Zhurgenov with a degree in Film Studies-Editor, in 2015 - Turan University with a degree in Jurisprudence. In 2019, he graduated from the Faculty of Journalism of Taraz State University.

From 1996 to 1998 he worked as an editor of the Tansholpan program on the Qazaqstan TV channel;

1998-2000 - Correspondent of the information service of the television and radio company "TAN", editor of the information and analytical programs "Almaty Ainasy";

2000-2003 - Chief editor of the information service of the TV channel "NTK";

2003-2005 - executive editor of the programs of the TV company "KTK";

2005-2007 - editor of the program department of the satellite TV channel "CASPIONET";

2007-2009 - Deputy head of the socio-political department of the RTRC "Qazaqstan";

2009-2011 - Deputy head of the media center of the NDP "Nur Otan";

2011-2012 - director of directorate of programs of the 7th channel of ERA TV LLP;

2012-2013 - Deputy Head, Head of the Anti-Corruption Media Center at the central office of the NDP "Nur Otan";

2013-2017 - General producer of the production center "Media Astana";

2017-2018 - Press Secretary of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

2018-2019 - Head of international projects dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Astana.
