By order of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Tokbaev Rakhat Keldibayevich was appointed to the post of Chairman of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Rakhat Tokbaev was born in 1965 in the Akmola region, graduated from the Alma-Ata Institute of National Economy, Turan University.
He began his career in 1982 as an apprentice fitter at the Atbasar mechanical repair plant.
From 1985 to 1998 he worked in financial and credit institutions.
From 1998 to 2001 - Head of the Department of Foreign Exchange Operations of the Treasury Department for Astana.
In 2001-2006 - Deputy Head of the Treasury Department, Deputy Head of the Finance Department for Astana.
In 2007-2013 - Head of the Treasury Department for Astana.
In 2013-2021 - Head of the Treasury Department of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
From May 2021 to the present, he has served as Deputy Chairman of the Treasury Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
