Ruslan Magzumov heads regional development department of RK OPM

By the order of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Magzumov Ruslan Kapyzovich was appointed to the post of head of the Regional Development Department of the Office of the Prime Minister, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Prime Minister.

Ruslan Magzumov was born in 1975 in the Karaganda region, graduated from the Kazakh Institute of Consumer Cooperation, Karaganda Economic University of Kazpotrebsoyuz. 

He began his career in 1996 as the chief specialist of the Department for collection of the road fund of the state-owned enterprise "Karagandaavtodor".

In 1998-2001 - economist; leading economist; chief specialist of the Budget Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2001-2003 - Head of the Department, Deputy Head of the Department of Financing of State Bodies of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2003-2008 - Deputy Director, Director of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2008-2009 - Vice President for Investments and Leasing of KazAviaLeasing JSC.

In 2009-2010 - Vice-President of JSC "Kazakhstan Transport Leasing Company".

In 2010-2011 - Director of the Department of Finance and Documentation of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Statistics.

In 2011-2012 - Director of the Department of Finance, Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Control of Automation of Public Services and Public Service Centers of the Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2012-2014 - Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Transport and Communications of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In 2014-2019 - Managing Director of RSE "Kazaeronavigatsia".

Since 2020, he has been working in the structure of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

From February 2022 to the present, he has been the Deputy Head of the Regional Development Department of the Office of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
