Minister of Finance Yerulan Zhamaubayev on the sidelines of the government spoke about the damage to Kazakhstan due to the accident at the CPC, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
“At this stage, no one can say the exact figure, since it all depends on how long these violations will be corrected, whether there will be further sanctions. It is estimated in the range of 100-150 billion US dollars,” Yerulan Zhamaubayev said.
At the same time, he noted that if the consequences of the accident are eliminated quickly, then the amount of damage will naturally be less.
