Maximum rates on deposits in tenge increased

Following the increase in the base rate of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, the Kazakhstan Deposit Guarantee Fund raised the maximum recommended rates on non-term and short-term deposits for April and May 2022, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the fund's press service.

The changes will come into effect on April 26, 2022; from this day banks have the right to revise interest rates for their deposit products.
