Due to the delay in road repairs in the West Kazakhstan region, a number of employees of NC KazAvtoZhol JSC and the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan were held liable, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the MIID.
“For untimely fulfillment of the instruction of the Head of State on the repair of roads in the West Kazakhstan region, the director of the branch of JSC “NC “KazAvtoZhol” in WKR Amir Karimbaev was dismissed.
In addition, administrative measures were applied against a number of senior officials and specialists of the central office of KazAvtoZhol and the Committee for Highways of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan,” the ministry said.
Earlier, for the same reason, Vice Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development Berik Kamaliev was dismissed from his post.
Recall, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev drew attention to the article “Kure zholdagy kursinіs” in the newspaper “Egemen Qazaqstan” about the poor condition of the roads of the West Kazakhstan region. The Head of State instructed the Government and the WKR akimat to take the necessary measures to repair roads in the region, as well as to punish those responsible for the failure to meet deadlines.
