Investigation launched against leaders of Qnet financial pyramid in Kazakhstan

The territorial department of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for financial monitoring in the Akmola region has launched a pre-trial investigation against the heads of the structural unit of the international financial pyramid Qnet, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the AFM.

The company has no registration on the territory of Kazakhstan, no business activities are carried out, there are no licenses, permits for banking activities and banking operations.

In relation to one of the defendants in the case, a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest was sanctioned.

Other information in the interests of the investigation in accordance with Article 201 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan is not disclosed.
