Yerzhan Birzhanov, Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, said at a press conference at the CCS that it is planned to introduce the concept of "young employee" into the Labor Code of the country to protect young people from dismissal after a probationary employment period, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
"The Ministry will initiate amendments to the Labor Code, which will introduce the concept of "young employee". We also want to eliminate the probationary employment period, when a young specialist can be fired after three months. If we remove this probationary employment period, then if the employee does not quite correspond to the work and additional training is needed, the employer will have to further improve his qualifications and employ the specialist. That is, it will not be possible to dismiss him without reason," Yerzhan Birzhanov said.
The adoption of these norms, according to him, will have a positive impact on the employment of young people.
