Kazakhstanis can register at their place of residence via smartphone

As part of the digitalization of police activities carried out on behalf of the Head of State, a pilot project has been launched since April this year to register citizens at their place of residence through the Halyk Homebank mobile application, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to Polisia.kz.

As part of the National Project “Technological breakthrough through digitalization, science and innovation”, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, together with the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry and Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC, provides the state service “Registration at the place of residence of the population of the Republic of Kazakhstan” to citizens through bank mobile app.

This innovation will allow Kazakhstanis to register at the place of residence or at the place of temporary residence using a smartphone within 5 minutes, which will simplify the receipt of the service, which is currently provided in public service centers, and is also available on the e-government portal and the mobile application of the eGov mobile portal.

To do this, just download the Halyk Homebank mobile application to your smartphone, select “Registration at the place of residence of the population” in the “Public Services” tab and fill in the fields depending on the type of registration (permanent or temporary), the registration period, the status of the service recipient (is or is not the owner of the home). The result can be found in the "Records" section.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to work on the digitalization and automation of public services provided to the citizens of Kazakhstan. To date, the ministry has automated 38 public services out of 40 provided by the department.
