Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kairbek Uskenbayev said on the sidelines of the Government that the akimat is considering various options for the construction of LRT in Nur-Sultan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
Kairbek Uskenbayev noted that the local executive body is fully involved in the implementation of LRT project.
“I think that the akimat of Nur-Sultan will answer you in full. The akimat is calculating different options, since it is necessary to approach it very carefully, taking into account the already invested funds,” the minister added.
He also recalled that various proposals were offered through the media, including the akimat conducted a kind of collection of opinions of the townspeople.
“They will come to some kind of decision, I think they will announce it soon,” the minister summed up.
