As part of the implementation of the instructions of the President of the country to increase the personnel potential of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Defense organized the training of military doctors, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Medical specialists for the Kazakh army will be trained at the military medical faculty of the Military Institute of the Air Defense Forces in Aktobe, at the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg and at the military medical faculty of the Yerevan State Medical University.
In 2022, it is planned to recruit 40 cadets.
At the same time, both boys and girls are admitted to the Military Medical Academy in St. Petersburg, the department noted.
During the training, the cadets are fully supported by the state, the ministry stressed.
Upon completion of training, the would-be military doctors will be awarded the military rank of "lieutenant". Young specialists will have the opportunity to continue their studies in internship with further military service in the Armed Forces.
Those wishing to enroll in military educational institutions must apply to the local military authorities at the place of residence no later than May of the current year.
