Minister of National Economy Alibek Kuantirov commented at the CCS on the possibility of taking measures to protect the Kazakh market within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
“Within the framework of the EAEU, any member of the Union has the right to unilaterally impose certain restrictions on goods in the event of a threat to the national market,” Kuantirov said.
At the same time, he noted that "revision of relations with the Russian Federation is not expected."
"Russia is one of the main trading partners of Kazakhstan, and in terms of imports, Russia is in first place," the minister added.
