In all regions of Kazakhstan, tariffs have been reduced for more than 120 entities providing access road services. This was reported by the press service of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.
At the beginning of this year, Roman Sklyar, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as part of the instructions of the Head of State to restore order on access roads, instructed to conduct inspections of the activities of natural monopoly entities providing services in the field of access roads, analyze the reasonableness of the cost of services and take measures to reduce tariffs.
At the first stage from February 1 this year, 21 entities providing access road services have already reduced tariffs by an average of 80% (CTS JSC, Arman Kala Limited LLP and others).
At the same time, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Agency for Protection and Development of Competition, continued work to identify unscrupulous entities abusing their position in the provision of services.
Today, in all regions of the country, tariffs have been reduced for more than 120 entities providing access road services.
Thus, the measures taken will have a positive effect on the final cost of transported goods (cargo) and significantly reduce the costs of entrepreneurs to pay for these services, the Prime Minister's press service noted.
