Vice Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Aerospace Industry Askar Zhambakin announced plans to expand the register of public services in Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz reports.

Askar Zhambakin said that the Decree of the President "On measures to de-bureaucratize the activities of the state apparatus" instructed to expand the register of public services.

“Today, out of a total of 700 public services, more than 94% are available in electronic form. But does this mean that any of your problems or any issue will be resolved without the need to apply to government agencies or without the need to collect a preliminary package of documents for receiving public services, and will be resolved in one click? No, unfortunately this is not possible. And many public services are still the filing of an application ... And all those things that were before the application, today are in the “shadow” and are not regulated in any way, these are the so-called sub-types,” the speaker explained.

Meanwhile, according to him, "the register should start to include all the scenarios of the so-called life situations."

“We calculated that if we expand all the subtypes of public services, then out of 700 we will get an increase of 2.5 times - there may be about 2,000 subtypes,” the vice minister summed up.
