The Committee for Regulation of Natural Monopolies of the Ministry of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan has completed an inspection of KEGOC JSC, Kazpravda.kz reports.
"Based on the appeal of the plant for the production of pipe products, an unscheduled inspection was carried out in relation to KEGOC JSC, as a result of which a violation of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan on natural monopolies, in terms of consumer access to a regulated service, was revealed.
As a result, a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up in relation to KEGOC JSC under part four of Article 164 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses, which, at the request of the subject, was submitted for consideration by the court," the committee said in a statement.
The press service noted that in case of consideration of an administrative case in favor of CRNM, KEGOC faces an administrative fine of 4,900,800 tenge.
