In Makhambet, Inder, Makat, Zhylyoi, Kyzylkogy, Isatai and Kurmangazy districts of Atyrau region, a specially created commission checked the condition of roads of regional and republican significance, Kazpravda.kz reports citing Mgorod.kz.
"During the visit, work was carried out to monitor the highways of republican significance passing through the territory of the Atyrau region, and artificial structures located along the temporary bypass roads of the Aktobe-Atyrau-Astrakhan road, the reconstruction of which is being carried out under the Nurly Zhol program. Shortcomings were identified, in particular, pits, waves, damage to road signs, household rubbish on roadsides," the regional police department said.
In relation to two officials, administrative protocols were drawn up under article 631 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Failure to comply with the requirements for performance of work on roads, road maintenance" and one protocol under article 630 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Damage of roads, railway crossings and other road structures."
To eliminate the shortcomings, 12 prescriptions were issued, added in the region's PD.
