When acceptance of documents to colleges of Kazakhstan begins

Director of the Department of Technical and Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nasymzhan Ospanova, at a briefing at the CCS, announced the start of acceptance of documents to the country's colleges from June 20, 2022, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.

"Acceptance of documents to the country's colleges begins on June 20 through the e-government portal and directly at the college. Each applicant can choose up to 4 specialties and 4 colleges. At the same time, it is possible to change the choice 3 times," Nasymzhan Ospanova said.

Entrance examinations, according to her, will be held in pedagogical, medical specialties and specialties requiring creative training. Exams have been canceled for all other specialties.

“Applicants for working specialties are interviewed, applicants entering middle-level specialties and applied bachelor's degree participate in the competition for training under the state order. The selection is based on the average mark of the certificate of education. The innovation is the introduction of a threshold score (4 points) for admission to pedagogical specialties and writing an essay,” the speaker concluded.
