Airport "mined" in Shymkent

The airport in Shymkent was "mined", Kazpravda.kz reports.

"Today, April 7, this fact was registered at the Line Police Department at the Shymkent station under Article 273 of the Criminal Code "Knowingly false report of an act of terrorism." An investigation is underway. Other information is not subject to disclosure in the interests of the investigation in accordance with the requirements of Article 201 of the Criminal Procedural Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan," the press service of the Transport Police Department said.

Earlier, regional media reported that the evacuation of people at the Shymkent airport had begun due to reports of a planted explosive device.
