The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan commented on the situation regarding JSC "Askeri Kurylys", Kazpravda.kz reports.
"The Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, as the sole shareholder, has changed the management of JSC "Askeri Kurylys" (hereinafter - the Company), whose subsidiary is LLP "Askeri Kurylys Astana" (hereinafter - the Partnership). The leadership of the defense department has repeatedly held meetings with representatives of companies, during which they discussed problematic issues of repayment of accounts payable and ways to solve them, as well as negotiations on the rehabilitation procedures of the Company.
The Ministry of Defense fully fulfilled all its obligations to Askeri Kurylys Astana LLP, transferred all the money for the work performed in a timely manner and is not legally responsible for the relationship of independent business entities. However, given the social nature of this issue, the defense department, on its own initiative, from the very beginning, has been actively involved in resolving the situation within the framework of its legal competencies”, the information says.
The criminal case on financial embezzlement at Askeri Kurylys JSC is being investigated by the Anti-Corruption Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the press service added.
