Malls and car dealerships of Nur-Sultan received reports of planted bombs

In Nur-Sultan, several facilities received false reports of planted bombs, Kazpravda.kz reports citing the press service of the city's police department.

"Today, the police received several calls to the 102 channel stating that the email address of the My car and Lexus car dealerships, as well as the Khan Shatyr and Mega Silk Way shopping malls, received letters with threats about allegedly planted explosive devices," the statement said.

According to the police, the emergency services of the city are currently checking objects.

"The Nur-Sultan Police Department warns that a deliberately false report about a planted explosive device entails criminal liability. We ask citizens not to create panic and treat the ongoing events with understanding," the police added.

Also, the Almaty Police Department said that they received reports today about the mining of seven objects.
