People evacuated from medical center in Karaganda

A medical center was "mined" in Karaganda, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the press service of the regional police department.

It is reported that today, April 4, at 9.05 am, the duty unit of the South-East Department of the Police of Karaganda PD received a message that an object wrapped in tape was found in the regional medical center on Mukanov street in the toilet under the sink.

"The operational duty officer of the Karaganda Regional Police Department sent all emergency services to the scene. About 400 people were evacuated from the building of the medical institution, including medical staff, patients, visitors. The police officers examined the found item - a push-button cell phone, a charger for it. The medical center is currently operating as usual," the message reads.
