First Deputy Prime Minister Roman Sklyar commented on calls to abolish the recycling fee in Kazakhstan, Kazpravda.kz correspondent reports.
“The government has worked and is working on the development of the industry ... Look deeper, who benefits from this (abolition of the recycling fee - ed.)? This is beneficial for importers who create a minimum of jobs and who do not pay absolutely all types of taxes,” said Roman Sklyar.
He said that all importers are offered to open production in Kazakhstan, which will create high-quality, highly productive and well-paid jobs in the country.
“It's not that expensive. But why don't they want to do it? Because they are losing their big margin,” the Deputy Prime Minister summed up.
