At the Kazakhstan Weightlifting Championship, Zulfiya Chinshanlo set 4 records and received the "bronze" of the World Championship, Kazpravda.kz reports with reference to the Weightlifting Federation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The athlete competed in the category up to 59 kilograms. In the sum of the biathlon, Zulfiya lifted 223 kilograms (95+128).
As noted in the press service of the WF, at the republican championship, Chinshanlo not only became the undisputed leader in her category, ahead of her closest rival by 51 kilograms, but also set four records: in total, two in the snatch and clean and jerk.
Together with the medal of the Championship of Kazakhstan, Zulfiya Chinshanlo received a bronze medal for third place at the World Championship in Ashgabat.
Recall that at the championship held in 2018, Zulfiya became the fifth, but as a result of the subsequent disqualification of two athletes, her result became the third.
